Clean Cabinets
First clean the cabinets inside and out including the doors. Depending on the current condition this can take a few minutes. Use degreaser as needed to clean the surfaces. Make sure all the surfaces you will be painting are clean and dry.
Prep for Painting
Prepping for paint will include removing the doors and hardware on the doors.

When painting these laminate cabinets I used about 3 coats. I waited about 1 hour to dry in between coats.

You will go back and forth from the doors and the frame adding a coat of paint while the other is drying.

Finally once you have painted the cabinet doors and frame you will add the hardware back and replace the doors.
