The Bissell SpotClean Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner is an upgraded version of the Bissell Little Green Pet Pro that can give you professional-looking results. It is Bissell’s most powerful stain cleaner and while it looks different, it operates similarly to the Bissell Little Green Pet Pro, with the exception of the Stain Trapper component that comes with the machine.

Preparing your Carpet Cleaner for use
Here I will go over step by step how to use and clean the machine. For detailed video instructions be sure to watch the video above!
Filling Up the Water Reservoir
Each machine comes with a Bissell PET PRO OXY Urine Eliminator that you can use to clean surfaces in your home. This cleaning solution will be mixed with water to help you take stains off carpets, rugs, couches, car seats and other surfaces.
- Remove the clean water reservoir from the back of the machine
- Unscrew the lid to open the tank
- Fill the clean water reservoir with water up to the fill line printed on the tank
- Mix in 2oz of PET PRO OXY Urine Eliminator as instructed on the tank
- Screw the lid back on, make sure it is tight to prevent leaking
- Reattach the clean water reservoir to the back of the machine

Attaching the Cleaning Components
The machine comes with 2 cleaning components – the Stain Tool and the Stain Trapper. Both components can be attached and detached the same way.
- Align the cleaning component you’re going to use with the head of the hose
- Slide the cleaning component in place until it clicks

Using the Carpet Cleaner
Now that you’ve prepared your cleaning solution mix and the cleaning component you’re going to use, it’s time to power up your Bissell SpotClean Pet Pro Portable Carpet Cleaner.
- Press the power button on the side of the machine to turn it on
- Hover the head of the cleaning component close to the surface where the stain is
- Pull the trigger on the handle to spray water and cleaning solution mix on the surface
- Place the head of the cleaning component on the carpet or surface to begin agitating the spot where the stain is (Tip: You can turn the machine off while doing this to keep the cleaning solution on the surface while you scrub it clean)
- Firmly push the head of the cleaning component onto/into the carpet or surface and slowly drag it to start sucking up the excess water. Continue as needed until most of the water has been removed.

After you’re done cleaning your stain it’s time to clean the machine and prepare it for storage. Tip: Clean after every use to prevent dirt and debris from building up in different parts of the machine.
