Here you will see how I built a DIY mini keg with ball lock tap system. This system uses the standard ball locks for a tap system on a mini keg.

The main component to this system is the threaded tee. Using this piece you can connect the gas in/out and tap the keg.

The basic assembly for this project is to connect everything to the threaded tee and check for leaks. Let’s go over the basic set up.
First you will need to have all the supplies (I have affiliate links below).

Putting the System Together
Now let’s start by putting together the main piece. Start by taking the threaded tee and screwing in the 2 ball posts. The liquid line out goes into the top and the gas in line goes in through the side.

Once you have the main piece assembled it’s really easy from there. You can set up the system just like a standard ball lock tap.
